Installing Intellisync web Portal

fiogf49gjkf0d When SLX was initially installed, Intellisync was not checked to be included in the install. Now at 7.5.3, I would like to install it. Reviewed the install doc, and it was not very clear. Tried to run SalesLogix Admin Tools and Servers.msi, checked the Intellisyn Web Portal checkbox and was promted for site settings. Created a New site "Intel Portal" with a 3333 port (current port for slxClient is 80). Go into AA and don't see any Intel Portal added to my Deployments. Any thoughts? |

fiogf49gjkf0d So I removed everything related to Intellisync to start fresh...then did the following:
- In AA, created a new deployment titled Intellisync Portal
- Added an IIS Target, with the Slxintellisync portal checkbox checked
- IIS target settings are the same as SlxClient, except changed the port number and app pool
- Virtual and Sub Directory stay default "SlxIntellisync"
- Clicked deploy
- Saw in IIS it created a Virtual Directory/Application under my Default Web Site, titled "SlxIntellisync"...Note that my Default Web Site is stopped and not used. I have another site called SalesLogix what is where SlxClient is located.
- Tried to Browse in IIS that directory/app and got "This website requires you to log in."
- Figured it shouldn't be in Default Web Site since it's stopped anyway, so I created a new Site in IIS with the same settings as the "SalesLogix" site....changed the port number to the port number in AA for that deployment, then redeployed from AA.
- Browsed from IIS and got the same "This website requires you to log in."
- Toggled Windows Authentication setting from Directory Security, with same results.
Any ideas?
Thank you in advance |

fiogf49gjkf0d Ok Nevermind...i just needed to add Default.aspx to the files list. Only Default.asp was in there. Uhg, so much wasted time on something stupid. This was even in the documentation...Thanks anyway. |
