I am trying to add a column (and value to filter drop down) on the new 7.5.4 add product lookup/dialog (launched from SalesOrder Products tab). OOB the values in the grid and filter drop down are Name, Family, Status, SKU. Say I wanted to add another field to this screen to both filter on and display in the grid. I clicked on the SalesOrderProducts grid, activated the tools popup, selected relate then added a field to the Lookup Properties collection. After a ctrl build/IIS reset/Deploy I am not seeing the new value in the grid or filter drop down.

Can anyone point me in the right direction here? Thanks

open the form and look at the grid properties. One or more will contain a large block of client side script.

This code does the client side sdata calls, you will need to add the field in question into the sdata call, then you'll be able to populate the grid.

If the data is on a related table, it gets a little more complicated but can be solved using relationships or by creating a view with the data and generating a new entity to support a sdata reference.

firefox and client side break points might/will be helpful in the discovery process too.

There is also a special help file for the new grid worth looking at too.
