Trying to use old 7.5.2 Welcome.aspx page instead of new 7.5.4 Home.aspx - ProblemsYour last visit to this thread was on 1/1/1970 12:00:00 AM

I just finished migrating a 7.5.2 webclient to 7.5.4.

As you know, in 7.5.4, the old "Welcome" page has been replaced by the new "Home" page. Since this particular customer has several customizations in the "Welcome" page (4 custom content panels, 3 tabs) we'd like to keep on using it as it is. The problem is that, even though the old Welcome page is properly deployed and I can browse to the Welcome.aspx page, when it displays I can't see any of the custom content - no custom tabs on top (there should be 3, I only see 1), no custom content when I right click and choose "Add Content". If I check the portal page configuration for Welcome.aspx, I can clearly see several custom smartparts configured in the "Dashboard" workspace.

Is there anything else that needs to be done to properly use the old 7.5.2 Welcome page in a 7.5.4 environment? Am I missing something here?

Any ideas will be appreciated.

Thanks.
