Setting up custom table in App Architect - Need Help!!

I am trying to get a custom table working in Application Architect ver 7.5.4, and I'm having some trouble. This table (lets call it CUSTOM) has a 1:1 relationship with the ACCOUNT table. How should I set this up - I don't see anywhere where you can define a 1:1 relationship, just 1:M. The CUSTOM entity appears under SLX Application Entities. Do I make it an extension of the Account table? Do I need to add it under the Child Properties of Account?
Once I have it set up correctly, how do I reference a field on this CUSTOM tale from within the Account's Edit.js script, 'CUSTOM/fieldname' ?
I know I need training, but that won't be possible at least right now, and I need to get this working quick!
Thanks

fiogf49gjkf0d Help you do what? 1:1 table extensions are defined by a check box in the Entity screen itself. F1 gets you the help file that goes over the very basics....most of us took classes and courses in how to do this stuff that got us over the initial high learning curve... |

fiogf49gjkf0d I wanted to know if that was the correct way to do it, and once I set it up how to reference a field on the custom table in the Account edit.js script. As I said, I KNOW I need training, but it won't happen for a while and I thought I could get some help in the meantime. Since "most of you have taken classes and courses in how to do this stuff", I thought I would try here. I guess that was too much to ask for. |
