I'm working with a client on an external web application that will open a scheduling event in the slxclient portal. The connection will be against a NT authenticated users and tied to Concurrent SLX licenses.

Waiting for a 20 minute timeout isn't going to work for us, due to the number of users >100

The question is how do I shutdown the connection after the read is complete (in global.cs there is a set of calls to close a session but i couldn't get to the root of it).

Shouldn't there be a simple oledb stored procedure to call for this? A simple slx_Logoff() would be kind of nice here!

Does anybody know?

Thanks

Question:

What do you mean by "Open" a scheduling event? Are you going to be Creating an Event?

Why using the SLX Client? Why a Concurrent User? Why NT Authentication, being it an External Web App? (or does external just means other than SLX?

You are asking for a Simple OLEDB Store Proc, which may indicate that you are actually writing data via SLX OLEDB, so not sure how you get from "External Web App", scheduling on the SLX Client Portal (the website), to trying to call a Store Proc?
