Hello,

I would need to develop a new Entity linked to our plants (to manage some inventory stuff ) . So the screen creation will be composed of dropdownlists to create the right item (but this piclist will dependent on the previous one like in a dependent lookup (in some case it will be a language if we talking about books , colour for other items...)

The first picklist / parameter will be the plant where this entity will be stored. But each user can handle a different list of plant inventory , for example some will only handle a plant , some 2 or 3 and some will need to handle alls plants.

I hope that I am quite clear . So  what is the best way for handling securiy on this ? to allow a list of plant to be view or not   and after how to create the first plant dropdownlist (which in most case will be only one plant but can be 2 or 3 ...). Can I use picklist or do I need to use lookup ?

I will have an entity Plant which will have some stuff like address....

thanks a lot for your feedback ! If you have some good article on SLX security I will be grateful too .
