Hi

I am in the process of implementing a saleslogix web solution for an area at work and have hit a few issues.

I've installed okay and out of the box can access my website and add/delete leads and coonvert accounts so all seems okay on that front.

I wanted to add a new entity with a new table one to many with the account table which I did in Application Architect and have added about four fields into it which seemed okay. I have have followed the help instructions and have Built the web platform and then have deplyed the SalesLogix V8 Standard but at the end of this I get errors in the output window:

'Sage.SalesLogix.Entities.Utility' does not contain a definition for 'Unwrap'

Can anyone shed any light as to where this error has come from. Just to let you know I restarted my server for an unrelated update prior to doing this - could this have had any effect and maybe something has not restarted?

Any advice would be appreciated.

The issue has gone now...!!

I deleted my entity and started again. I think don't I had built my interfaces properly...!!

I have now created a new entity with a basic form and an additional form from the account entity linking to my new entity. Everything looks okay and i've added some basic functionality on my form. I have built the web platform and have deployed with no errors.

How do I then see my new form as a user or administrator??

Do I have to release it to the user? if so how? I thought it would be a bit like the LAN based administrator where you release the form  - does it not work like this??

I can see how to develop the forms using grids etc. but I can't seem to do the basics like simply releasing a form.

Can anyone advise?

You need to register you smartpart at some page. In app architect its inside portals tree. For example register your smartpart at account.aspx page inside tabworkspace, deploy and then you will see it as one of the tabs. Check manuals.
