I've been out of the SalesLogix game for a few years but I'm looking at going self-employed and SalesLogix would be a great string to my bow.

I've noticed that while I've been gone Sage has sold SalesLogix and a new version has been released. Is this dramatically different?

I was hoping to be able to (legally) download a version of 7.5 to refamiliarise myself. I notice that you can download a free trial of 8, so once I'm comfortable with 7.5 I'll probably have a crack at that too.

So my question is this... is there any way I could legally download a developer edition of SLX? Once I'm contracting for people they will (presumably) have their own licenses so I don't think I should be too bothered about that.

You need to talk to a BP.

I recommend you to request the 30 days trial of SalesLogix (formely InforCRM) version 8.1 that is the best at this moment.
