Hi All,

Can anyone let me know if I delete an Account/Contact from the client UI, where does it go -- I mean does it move to some particular table in the DB..??

Thanks,
Richa

When you delete an Account/Contact through the UI SalesLogix does a cascading delete... (i.e. The target rows are deleted from the database).

When you delete them, the records are all gone, no backup, no recycle bin. Only way to restore them would be from a Database Backup.

If you have the need to make the records invisible to users, you could change the Delete process. There are several ways people do this, such as changing the owner to a Team on which no user other than admin has visibility to, thus making the records inaccessible to all users. That along with a review process where Admin those records over time would be a good way to handle it.
