I have 470 records returned from this query:
select * from history h, activity a where h.activityID=a.activityID

Which indicates to me that some activity records are not getting deleted when moved to history. Am I on track here? Is it ok to delete the activity record if it also exists in the History table? The activity records in question don't show up on the front end either.. Thanks

Could it be the activities are recurring activities? Seems strange that they wouldn't be deleted. You might want to run the profiler and complete a few activities to see what it is doing and maybe what it is looking for before deciding to delete an activity.

Either way, to answer your question, it's always OK to delete an activity record I believe activities records sometimes have sister records in other tables, like the User_Activity table, or the UserNotification table - I'm not sure - so you'll want to delete those as well.
