plugin.data BLOB field
Posted: 14 Dec 07 7:54 AM
Here is my problem:
We are doing some clean up and want to delete some old tables which we are not using anymore. To make sure these are not used anymore in any of our scripts/forms/groups I would like to be able to search all of them and return all objects which are still using them.
I was thinking that plugin.data field has everything what I need. Can I convert this BLOB field directly in SQL?
I did some testing and so far I could read this BLOB through a script and write it out into a file, but it seems bonehead approach...plus groups and forms are messy.
My goal is to have this run as a form (SLX or .NET) and return the name of the plugin, type, owner, ReleasedTo, Family, date Cteated/Modified.
Any ideas how can I accomplish this task?

See

That was posted a couple years ago. I'll need to update that to include a few new ones (such as .NET Extensions)

You might be able to do what you need with Electrician. See
