Error viewing attachments tab under a contact? 7.2.1 Your last visit to this thread was on 1/1/1970 12:00:00 AM

Since upgrading to 7.2.1, I'm getting an error whenever viewing the attachments tab under a contact. This error only pops up if that contact has attachments associated with it.

The window title is "Script Error", and the error is "An error occurred executing active form script (Contact:Attachments). Error in include script (SYSTEM:ATTACHMENT SUPPORT): Wrong number of arguments or invalid property assignment: 'objMMGui.GetWebWriteMenu' at line 160, char 11."

I found an article on Sage's site for a SIMILAR error suggesting a user's USEROPTIONS record might be corrupted. However, this isn't the case here.

This error is occurring on every PC, every user login.

Any suggestions would be great! Thanks!

Yep, you forgot to apply the SP1 bundle ! (or, if you did, you didn't realease the plugins when prompted to). You will notice that in the bundle for SP1 there's a set of new plugins in regard to attachments. Make sure they are released (or simply apply the bundle again).

Hi,
I have the same issue, but after installing the SP1 Bundle I didn't resolve the problem.
Now i have another error when i try to open attachment tab (Variable not defined: SelectFirstRecordInGrid)
and then "system: attachment support", "error calling method: grdAttachRowSelect" wrong number of argument........

The SalesLogix Application Server is a Windows 2000 Server and the DBMS Server is SQLserver 2005 running on Windows Server 2003.

PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!

I have istalled the following service pack, upgrades and bundles since 7.0.0 Version of SalesLogix:

"SalesLogix 6.2 to 7.0 Conversion" "7.0.0" "10/08/2006 13.22" "SalesLogix 6.2 to 7.0 Conversion"
"SalesLogix v6.2.x to 7.0 Upgrade" "7.0.0" "09/08/2006 8.54" "SalesLogix 6.2 to 7.0 Upgrade Bundle"
"SalesLogix v7.0 Service Pack 1" "7.0.1" "05/01/2007 14.55" "SalesLogix Service Pack 1 for 7.0"
"SalesLogix v7.0.x to 7.2 Upgrade" "7.2.0" "12/07/2007 14.55" "SalesLogix 7.0 to 7.2 Upgrade Bundle"

We have then istalled the V7.2.1 SP1 bundle, with all the related plugins upgraded and released.
We have not istalled upgrades regard to Web capabilities because we don't use, at the moment, Web functions.

Do you have any customizations on the attachments tab? When I tried to add a column to any position other than last, it blew up on me.

I have no Customization on attachment tab.

The problem appeared when i did the upgrade to version 7.2 and it didn't disappear istalling 7.2.1 service pack and bundle

Only on the client. I removed the useroptions entries, still no luck.
