HI,

I noticed several months ago that when I added a calculated field to certain lookups SLX would return -1 of xxx and the body of the grid would be blank. Today I tried to create a very simple calculated field and I get the error, so I just put in °Opportunity.Salesamount°, refreshed the sales client (6.2.3.1142) and same error. I thought the error might have been caused by a zero divide, its not... Anybody have the same issue?

Thanks!

Paul

It has been a while since this post, but there is a defect that has been identified by Sage that causes this issue. The problem is created when the lastname, firstname and mailing address out of box calculated fields are used from the base contact table.

From Sage support:

Defect description:
When some calculated fields are used in a group, no data displays, and the record count appears as '-1 of xxx'

Defect 1-43012 was logged for this issue.

I thought this was the case. I noticed it when I put in one of the service packs... Hopefully this will be resolved in 7.
