Hi -

When a user clicks on the Group Drop-down menu on the title bar, he is not able to see all of the groups. The name of the current group and the arrow is visible but when you click on the arrow, nothing happens. I contacted SalesLogix but all they told me is to delete the UserOption for that user and to un- and reinstall the software. Does anybody know another fix other than un- and reinstalling SalesLogix?

Hi Joy,

I'll have to say this is the first I've heard of that kind of issue. I've seen it happen when selecting a campaign for a contact campaign response. The quick fix to that one is to check the 'Include Iinactive Campaigns' check box and then uncheck it. That will fix that situation, but there is no check box in the group drop down.

What version of SLX and is this a network or remote client? A reinstall may be the most time efficient method.

Oh, something that might be the issue is timing. I'm fairly certain that timing has something to do with the campaigns missing in the campaign response dialog I mentioned.

Could it be the group is not finished loading just yet and thats causing the group list to not populate before attempting to use it? Its a shot in the dark, but something to think about.

I am on SLX 6.2.4 and he is a remote user. I was trying not to do an re-install if I could help it.

I was trying not to do an re-install if I could help it.

Being a remote user I'm assuming they are not in the office anytime soon and it would take a bit to get the box to and from you to reinstall. Unless someone else has a suggestion I don't know what could be going on that would make the group drop-down not show.
