Citrix User - Not Able to Save Exported Data From SLX/ Also Not able to Drag Emails/Attachments to SLXYour last visit to this thread was on 1/1/1970 12:00:00 AM

I have a citrix user who is unable to:


1. Save Exported Data From SLX. While clicking on save button he is getting error as "Drive C: does not exist or is not accessible. Make sure you enterend the correct drive" . I clicked on OK and it opens a dektop which is different from user's local desktop.( to me appears as citrix server's desktop)


2. Drag Emails/Attachments to SLX: Drag Emails/Attachments to SLX from user's desktop is not working. However when I click on Insert attachment in SLX it opens the same desktop to select attachments as the first one.


Please advise.

Your Findings seem to suggest that SLX is running as a Published Application on a Citrix server, which explains why you can't Drag and Drop from the Local Machine to the Application, which would then be running Remotely.


 


Saving Exported Data may be possible if the user can map a drive back to his/her computer.

1. Yes its the Citrix profil


2. All applcations must run on Citrix, like Office. If You want to use send Mail to SLX you musst install office on Citrix. Like you didi with SLX. IMAP is necessary at least.
