I am looking for some clarification on what v7 is going to mean to two clients of mine.. one uses the support client and the other has signifigant legacy customizations in the network client. Both are currently on 6.2 sp3

First, the support client. It is my understanding this will not function at all in v7. So we will need to completely rebuild existing mods from the support client in the network client to move this implementation to v7. Is this correct?

Second, my client with extensive legacy customization running in network client. Will these customizations be valid and supported in v7? Are there any exceptions or gotchas so far?

Correct, the suport client is dead as of v7. You will need to rebuild any support customizations in the std SLX client (which will be significantly easier than the pains of customizing the support client before

)

All legacy plugins will continue to work correctly in v7. Although v7 does not have legacy plugins out of the box, they will still work as they did before.

What about Groups in the support client? Anyway to port these to the network client? thanks
