I have a problem when I add an activity to my outlook cal it will not update SLX. If I'm in SLX and create a activity it will put it on my calendar. If I delete that activity in SLX it will not update my outlook calander.

I have tried re-registering the dlls. Also intellisync is not enabled on the box. I have tried a couple diffent boxes and users. All with the same results.

You must have Intellisync configured in order for activities to come from Outlook into SLX. And this has to be done for every profile on every box where you want to Sync Outlook into SLX. Yes.. that means if a user can log into 5 different boxes those 5 boxes must have Intellisync configured. Our example here is that each user can log into their own box or the CITRIX box. So we have 2 Intellisyncs to configure. And if your CITRIX admin decides they have to recreate a user's profile, then Intellisync will have to be reconfigured.

What I've found to be the best practice is to schedule everything from SLX. With Outlook Integration turned on then it goes into Outlook's calendar automatically. Also, for each activity type, in the Advanced settings we make a filter called 'Exclude Private Data and Slx ID:' to filter out activities sent from SLX Outlook Integration. Simply we add a condition to the standard 'Exclude Private Data' rule that filter activites where 'Slx ID:' is not contained in the body. If you didn't have this additional criteria all activities created from SLX in Outlook would be duplicated back into SLX. Not a pretty sight.

I guess another question then is what happens when someone sends you a meeting request in Outlook. Thats where Intellisync comes into play. Once Intellisync has been configured and then syncs with Outlook that meeting will come over into SLX. But one major issue with this is that it will not have an account or contact associated with that meeting. You must manually associate that meeting with the proper contact/account.

As for activities scheduled in SLX being deleted and then not being deleted from Outlook... well.. I've run into the same issue here. I'm not sure what the issue is because its suppose to work. We are not on the latest SP of Office 2003, so that might be the issue.

Something else you might want to do is download and install the latest Intellisync feature pack from the SLX support web site. This is suppose to be improved over the last version. I don't know by how much, but its been the general recommendation in cases where we've been having issues between SLX and Outlook.
