Office 2007 is qualified for 6.2 SP5 and will be qualified with 7.0 SP1 (SLX 7.0 SP1 is currently in beta)

Also note that as of SP5, SalesLogix dropped official support for Office 2000. This just came up at a client site last week where we were upgrading them from 5.2.x to 6.2.5.
Standing support rule.. Current plus 2 versions backwards.
NOTE: Nothing was done to prevent Office2k from working.. it's just that it was NOT QA'd.

Any idea when SLX 7.0 SP1 will be released? We are currently upgrading to 7.0 and well. I'd hate to have to it all over again!!
Thanks,
John G.

Actually, it's not that bad - very simple SP to apply. However, of course, depends on how many clients. I'm suspecting Jan - so I'd hold off - unless you have a simple/no remotes install.

Because of the MS "bug" introduced by a TimeZone patch, SP1 (for v7) will be going into a "beta2" (which will show up sometime soon). IF all is well and it can pass thru to RC ( Release Candidate) w/out additional issues.. and given the Christmas Holidays, etc.. You should see a Gold/GA on SP1 sometime between the mid and end of Jan '07.
This willl support Office 2007 (and drop support for Office 2000). I'm not counting on Vista support in SP1.. but who really cares (except "certain"
developers.
FYI - SP6 for v6.2 should also appear in the same time period (because of the MicroSquish "bug").
