SLX 5.2

When I open MS Outlook 2003 and send a message using the "Send using SLX" button, if it has an attachment, the user only recieves the attachments if they're using MS Outlook. If not, they recieve a winmail.dat file and that's it.

But, I can send an email w/o an attachment just fine. And, if I send a message with an attachment through MS Outlook (not "Send Using SLX" button), the user recieves the message and the attachment just fine.

Any help?

Typical w/ Lotus users.. nothingh new here.. The Lotus users can't decode the "mime" type.

The only way I know is to send all email in "simple text".. Not RTF or html and certainly do not use Word as the email editor.

Still no luck. I've verified that outlook is set to "Compose in this message format: Plain Text"

At this point.. it's a pure Lotus problem.. NOT outlook or SalesLogix.
