Hi,

v7 / Win2003
SQL2005

I have what I hope to be an easy question. I want to change the default look up from the Toolbar area. Right now when a user R/Cs on the Contacts Icon and selects Lookup Contact; they receive a simple last name search. I'd like to replace that with the Advanced search or a custom if needed. Has anyone done this? If so, how?

Thanks,
Carla

Hi Carla,

You can modify the menu that pops when you right-click on the contact button on the navbar.

Open the menu plugin called "System:Standard Menus". Look at the section "Contacts NavMenu". You'll find what you need there. You can modify that to invoke whatever you want.

Thanks. I was stuck on Toolbar as opposed to Menu.
