Can't operate SLX Architect

fiogf49gjkf0d After I upgraded our SLX lan version system to 7.0.0, I could use SLX Architect to open and edit SLX file. I further upgraded the system to 7.0.1. Then, whenever I logged in SLX Architect through Admin account, a dialog "Enter Edit Password" always popped up. I inputted the admin password and clicked OK to close the dialog. But I couldn’t open any SLX file anymore from the project explorer. I tried leaving empty in the Edit Password text box, but the situation was the same. What’s the Edit Password? Can't the Admin account operate the SLX Architect in V7.0.x?
Thanks in advance.

fiogf49gjkf0d Yes, it can - that was a bug in the project/bundle properties. In 7.0.1 this is fixed. However, the problem started in 7.0 so it's been inherited. You need to open the tables for projects in SQL and remove the passwords for the bundle concerned. |

fiogf49gjkf0d This was originally posted by Jim Pembleton - I personally haven't tried it:
On the last step that I did with the new project, I saved it with a password. In looking at it in the database, the saved password was considerably shorter than all the rest in the list. So thinking about the admin password hack that work(s) in earlier versions, I tried the same for the edit password (and fuse, etc...) by copying the encrypted passwords on my new project to the project that was "locked". When I tried to open the "locked" project with the new password, it opened perfectly. I could then go back and set the "No Password" option and continue like nothing happened. I am sure this method is not officially supported, but it worked for me.....
In other words, look at the Project table and copy a project with a password you know into the password for the project you have an issue with.
