hello~
Has anybody be able to create a lookup from the serial number off the accountproduct table. I created the lookup in manage-lookups but I cannot remember how to add to the look-up menu. I am somewhat of a new user, therefore detail will not offend me.

thanks in advance.

Since you have created the lookup all you need todo is create a menu strip (or edit the Standard Menus strip) using the Architect for

Standard Menus
Menus
Standard Menu
Lookup
Accounts
NewEntry Lookup ACCOUNT:AccountProduct.SerialNumber

After you create the strip make sure you release it to everone.

thanks much for the help. I created the menu and since the argument did not exist for the productID, typed in the argument as above. I did a release to everyone. (this is my test system) in the sales client I get the below error when executing

Account:AccountProduct.SerialNumber cannot be used because it was not found.

Sounds like the field you are using is not in the database. I created the Lookup in an test database and it works fine.
