Hello
I installed slx 7.2 and when i chooses the saleslogix_eval and tried to connect to the db , i got this error msg
Invalid object name 'SYSTEMINFO'

That indicates that the problem might with the Connection defined at the Connection Manager.
Go to the Connection Manager and test the connection and make sure you check the "Allow saving Password" checkbox otherwise the Connection will not preserve it.

Make sure the sysdba user does not have any server roles in SQL server.

Ryan, thank you!!! This really saved me! We are running 7.2 internally with remote databases, once we installed the Eval database access to both the remote and eval would stop working. The connection manager would verify the connection, but you couldn' t log into SLX.
Is it possible that during the installation of the Eval database that the sysdba login is assigned a database role? We run SQL Server 2005, Standard on the demo clients.
When I checked the Server Role, sysdba had a role of Public (can't remove) and Sysadm, I unchecked the Sysadm role, restarted SQL Server (don't know if necessary) and I was able to login to both the remote and eval without a problem.
