Issue syncing SLX with Outlook

fiogf49gjkf0d Recently my firm upgraded to SLX v.7. I am currently installing the network client onto user PCs and configuring the synchronization to Outlook.
When syncing the Outlook Contacts I:
-Create a "SyncSalesLogix" category in Outlook for Contacts and add that category to the appropriate contacts. -Configure SLX with Outlook Contacts and create a "SyncSalesLogix" filter to only carry over contacts from Outlook with that specific category type.
I have run into 2 instances where it seems as though SLX has carried over ALL contacts with a category, not only the "SyncSalesLogix." Should I set the operator to 'contains' or 'equal to'? Is there a step that I am missing? Is this an issue in SLX or Outlook? Has anyone encountered this issue?
You see my concern...hope someone can shine some light on this novice's issue immediately.
Thanks for the help! |

fiogf49gjkf0d You should set the operator at "Contains". I think if you change this item, you should be good to go. |

I have a user that ALL her contacts transferred from Outlook into SLX, despite the fact that there's filter set "Categories contains SyncSalesLogix" There is a slight possibility that user was "playing around" and gave SyncSalesLogix category to all contacts, then seen what she's done and removed the category from all but 4 contacts. Other that that, what could be the cause for such an odd behavior? I mean Intellisync, not user of course |

SLX Version 7.0.1 User claim that she had not assigned categories nor she initiated contact syncronization process. Automatic sync of calendar and contacts is disabled. |

Check the Intellisync logfile on the PC and see what Intellisync says it did. |
