How to change the Sync Cycle intervalYour last visit to this thread was on 1/1/1970 12:00:00 AM

I can see in SLX Monitor Console that the Sync Cycle is running every five minutes (set up by someone who has left). How do we change that to a bigger value please? Because we can't see where to set it.

Thanks in advance.

SLX 6.2.6 BTW

Hello Stuart

To change the Cycle Sync have to do so from the Administrator of SalesLogix.

Enter "Systems", then the tab "Sync Automation Services."

Das double click on the settings you want to change.

It provides a screen where you set the Sync Cycle within a Job

Thanks, I've now found it and changed it. Now just need to restart the service, apparently.

Supplementary: we have updated the interval to 60 minutes and restarted the service, but it now doesn't run at all. It should have run at 0900 and 1000 but at 1030 (now) the SLX Monitor Console shows this:

QueueID: 0 No log file. Service has not executed job yet.
LogFile: C:\DOCUME~1\ALLUSE~1\APPLIC~1\SALESL~1\Sync\EVENTL~1\UK01GW01\012308090000320.log
Previous LogFile:

Any ideas on how to get it started again?

Hello,

That you could see trying to erase the record of "Sync Automation Services" and delete the folder "syncservice" and create it again, then restart all services SalosLogix.

In addition to verifying permits SyncLogs and SyncServices folder.

And finally if it does not work, you may reinicial equipment.

I hope you can solve the problem.

Thanks for the advice, in fact we took the brute force approach and restarted the server the service was running on, and its now running fine, every 30 minutes, which is what we wanted.
