Error in Sync
Posted: 22 Jan 08 7:54 AM
SLX 6.2.6
The file MGHE-A10000G.G0SH was ignored because of an unknown source
Could anyone tell me what this error means, and how to get around it please? We have set up a test remote, and when it syncs back to the main DB I can see it sending the file, and when the Sync Cycle runs it finds the file, but then issues the error above. I assume we not set up something, but what? We thought we had set it up the same as our other remotes.
Thanks in advance.

I have found the cause of this in 'another forum' but not the cure. I think I just need to recut the DB for this remote.

A - ALWAYS make sure sync is NOT running when you cut a remote
B - ALWAYS make sure there's NO SQL maint/full backup, going on when you cut a remote.
C - ALWAYS make sure there's no app causing locks on the db when cutting a remote.
D - re-cut the remote..
