Error Monitor Console

Hello,
I have set up the "Monitor Console" for automatic synchronization, the synchronization is performed every minute.
There was a network problem and the "Monitor Console" was deployed a mistake of not having access to the folder "SyncLog."
After solving the problem of network restart the service SalesLogix Synchronization "and was active again Monitor Console, but it gives me the following error.
M[15/02/2008 12:04:07]Start of Sync Run M[15/02/2008 12:04:07]Cannot run two SyncServer(NG1M) instances for database
Try restarting the service and did not work Try changing the settings on automatic synchronization every 15 minutes and every 1 hour and it did not work. Look inside the "Manager Adnimistrator" and there is only one SyncServer and SyncServices
The only way I could solve the error is reset the computer. This is the best way not recommended.
How could resolve this error?

Bryan, First of all.. running Synch every minute is way too fast. You should not be running faster than a 15 minute cycle..
Second, the monitor console has no control over synch.. it's just a tool to show you what is going on with synch.
Third.. It's giving you an message telling you that there is an attampt to run more than on ecopy of syncservre.exe.. that is not allowed since there's a lot of "single thread" stuff happening in synch. You need to get into the Sync Server setup in ADMIN and make sure the job(s) are setup correctly.. then reboot your sync server. -- RJLedger - rjlSystems. |

I revice in exixte Administrator and one "job", I changed every 15 minutes and functioning properly.
But after a while the error is displayed again.
And reboot the computer and fix the problem, but it is not the best choice to restart the server, and there q connected user.
Any suggestions to solve this problem?
Thanks for your help.

You really need to reboot the server..
Just tell the users that there's a major problem and the server HAS to be rebooted. -- RJLedger - rjlSystems |
