We have an internal/external relationship where an internal user will create activities for an external user. Both users are remotes, and the issue we're having is where the scheduler will create an activity, it is visible on the main database but not on the External Sales Person's machine.

The internal has access to the external's calendar and both users are set to sync activity records for "calendars that the user has access to" and we recut their databases after changing that setting.

Has anyone seen this?

We recently upgraded from v5.2 to v7.0.1 and I'm thinking this may have something to do with "Field Level Security" enhancements added in the v6.2 upgade?

Check on USER_ACTIVITY records for both users and USERNOTIFICATION records.

Also double check your individual Activity Record Field Values against an SLX created activity of the same type where the User is the Leader......

There are problems with users creating an Activity where they are not the Leader......I don't know if this is corrected in 7.22.

Leader problem corrected in 7.2.2

Also, corrected the problem where admin was the "leader" and if you re-aligned there was NO USER_ACTIVITY record created.. it now does create the record.

RJ,
Is there any way to extract the changes that are in 7.2.2 without installing 7.2.2? Maybe by taking a look at the new plugins and install them in 7.0.1 or are these changes located in the Provider?

Thanks for your help!

No, you need to install it (on a test system) - you can then compare it to your live (but, you don't need to upgrade live just to find out - do it in VMWare or similar beforehand).

It's more than bundles (forms/scripts).. you need the executables too (more than provider... client, etc...) - all or nothing.
