HISTORY table does not sync out to remotes

Good day,
We need to create an audit report for the directors of a company running SLX, but these directors are all on remote clients, and the data is in the HISTORY table which does not seem to sync out to remotes. Can we force sync the HISTORY table?
Regards

Hi Ina,
Remotes only have a reduced amount of History on them - this is specified in the "History Filters..." on the "Sync Tab" for the user in SalesLogix Administrator. You could increase the number of days that the data is held in the remotes, the default is 180 days, but I think this is only implemented at the cutting of the specific user's remote database. The Database Changes do not synchronise by default to the remotes - you need to turn this on i.e. increase it from 0.
Regards,

I did some further investigation and found the following:
1. In Architect under Manage Database, the HISTORY table is selected to sync out to remotes, and changes to the history table to sync back to main server 2. When I make a change to a tracked field in a remote, the change transaction as well as the HISTORY transaction is synced back to the main database 3. When I make a change to a tracked field on the server, the change transaction is synced out to the remote, but the HISTORY transaction is not synced out to the remote
Can anyone help with this? |
