SLX 6.2.6 Upgrade Procedure - More
Posted: 08 Mar 07 7:19 AM

fiogf49gjkf0d I have been asked to confirm that when we do the 6.2.4 5 & 6 schema updates tomorrow on our main 6.2.3 database whether they will be synced to the remote office and remote users?
Also, we plan to shut down the sync services while we release the changes. When we restart it will it pick up these changes and send them?
I hope the answer to both is "yes", but could someone please confirm?
Thanks |

fiogf49gjkf0d I received this response on the saleslogix-l mailing list http://crm.ittoolbox.com/groups/technical-functional/saleslogix-l/
As long as the schema changes are applied through the Administrator's Install Bundle functionality or in the Execute SQL (with send to remotes turned on), the system will automatically handle all of the remote change updates.
It is always a good idea to shut down sync services and backup before starting any upgrade or major change process.
Good Luck!
