Not sure if this should go in the DTS or the ADO part of the Forum, but here goes.
We have an activeX DTS task that imports data from a SQL 2000 db into SalesLogix via the SLXNetwork provider. when we make a change to an update statement in the activeX script the change is not seen for about an hour, that is if I run the DTS package soon after making the change the new part of the update statement does not run, but about an hour later it runs. And the new code is not seen in the transaction viewer.

Is this normal / expected behaviour? Is there anyway to stop it?

Anthony

Can't say I've ever seen that happen. I use DTS for all imports and I've made changes before to activex tasks and reran the package and had the new changes run just fine.

Thanks Ryan

I was convinced that I had made changes before, and they were immediately available, but in this instance it was/is not happening. Don't know why?
