ACCOUNTID conflicts
Posted: 22 Feb 08 9:57 AM
I have two independant SLX systems. One of these installations is for a company that is part owned by the other. The parent company would like to copy new accounts and contacts added during the day into the subsidiary company's SLX, into the parent's SLX.
For this I have set up a Linked Server on the Parent company's SQL Server to the Subsidiary's SQL Server via our WAN. No problem. The problem I am experiencing is that I now have a conflict of Ids, despite there being a Sync Server setup on the Parent system, with the Site Id of LO9E.
I expected the ACCOUNTID to be like A6LO9E000002 instead of A6LUJ9A000002, but this is not the case.
I would be grateful for any feedback.

I found the reason for the conflict. The values of SITECODE column in the SITEKEYS table had not been updated
